In 2017, Volkswagen set a new production record – more than six million cars produced. To date, the German concern owns more than 50 plants located in 14 countries.

In total, Volkswagen produces over 60 models, the most popular of which are Jetta, Golf, Tiguan, Polo and the Santana model presented in China.

In addition, the company also notes an increase in demand for new items – fastback Arteon and compact crossover T-Roc.

In 2017, Volkswagen introduced 10 new models. Over the next few years, the company intends to expand its presence in the segment of crossovers and electric cars and by 2020 to produce 19 all-terrain vehicles.

Also, Volkswagen is going to replace the Beetle hatchback with an electric car.
